Overview
A booking system reached from the website, where visitors pick an open slot for a free consultation. Two-way sync with Google Calendar, automatic Meet links, confirmation and day-before reminder emails, and self-service rescheduling and cancellation. Booking rules are managed from an admin panel. Available in 6 languages.
Design decisions
Why it lives apart from the website
It could have been built as part of the website, at ebla.jp/booking. We deliberately made it a separate site at booking.ebla.jp to show that website production and system development are different kinds of work, and that the system can be delivered on its own.
How it can be deployed for clients
It can sit on a subdomain of the client's domain (booking.yourdomain) or under the site itself (yourdomain/booking).
No booking is lost if a service is down
If registering the event in Google Calendar fails, the booking still goes through; the system retries and notifies the administrator.
