Making many people's “wouldn't it be nice if…” possible. I founded Ebla Inc. to turn that wish into something real.

You have an idea or an image in your head, but no way to give it shape. I think that describes a lot of people.

An app like this would be so handy. If only this whole task could be automated. With a system like that, work would run so much more smoothly.

Every day I try to meet those wishes with speed, and with close, frequent communication.

After studying in the United States I returned to Japan and worked as an interpreter, translator and English teacher before going independent. Having studied seven languages, English included, language learning is close to my heart. At the same time I have always been drawn to IT and programming, and have taught myself for more than ten years.

There was a time I nearly gave up programming, convinced that mastering one thing meant I could not do both. What brought me back was my own wish: an app that lets you learn a language efficiently no matter how busy you are. I built the language-learning app Lanbla on my own, and have kept languages and programming side by side ever since.

The work ranges from small jobs, like translating a shop's website or menu, to walking alongside small businesses through requirements and internal change projects, to shaping service ideas meant for many people.
